Packet Success Rate Performance of 3modes Action Based On-demand WSN

Abstract(in English) For providing a battery having long service life and solving the problem of inter-channel interference on the wireless sensor network(WSN), the radio on-demand WSN based MC-CDMA with modified pseudo orthogonal M-sequences sets(MPOMS) has been proposed. This method was enhanced by introducing a method of combining plural packets from activated nodes that belong to the same group. However, there are still the performance degradation problem caused by co-channel interference and the battery longevity problem. In this paper, a new on-demand WSN system, which has three modes(wake/sleep/down-mode), is proposed for avoiding co-channel interference and suppressing energy consumption. In addition, packet success rate(PSR) performance of the proposed system is evaluated by computer simulation. Consequently, it is shown that the proposed system can achieve PSR $geq$ 0.9 when $E_b/N_0$=10[dB], the number of all nodes is 10, down-mode ratio is 0.5 and the number of waked-up nodes is at least 4.
