Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Microservice is a trend in an application development because of an agility of the development and an ease of application changes. An container platform that enables quick start-up and deletion of applications, is suitable for the microservice architecture and is expanding with the trend. Since it is relatively easy to change the location where applications run on a container-based system, the system configuration may have already changed, when a system administrator detects an abnormality such as a failure. We have focused on this problem and are developing a configuration management technology that can visualize the past change of the configuration. In our previous report, we proposed a configuration management technology that stores the differences between configurations instead of storing the entire configuration. However, since the configuration information was acquired periodically, we sometimes miss changes between acquisition intervals when changes occur frequently. In this report, we propose an event-driven technology that enables acquisition of configuration information at every change, and also propose a fast analysis method for searching the past configuration differences.
