Electromagnetic plane wave scattering by a slit and a rectangular trough on conducting ground plane -- E polarization case --

Abstract(in English) In this report, electromagnetic plane wave scattering from two cracks with different shapes on conducting plane is examined. Adjacent slit and rectangular trough are here considered as the crack model. In formulation, the Kobayashi Potential (KP) method, which is a rigorous technique for solving mixed boundary value problems, is applied to derive the solution of the scattered field. The derivation of the scattered field is carried out when E polarized plane wave impinges on the cracks.
