Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Reverberation chambers (RCs) which can apply statistically isotropic fields to a working volume are attracted attention in recent years because they are low power consumptions compared with anechoic chambers used to EMC tests. However, design methods have not been established due to interactions between chambers and stirrers. Then, the authors have proposed De-embedding modeling by spherical wave expansions to separate chambers and stirrers. This report expanded the modeling which was performed in 2D problems so far, to 3D problems and verified using a problem with a PEC sphere. Results showed that E-field distributions were obtained with the same accuracy compared with a finite element method, and errors of field uniformity which is a performance indicator of RCs was up to 0.2 dB. Moreover, physical interpreting obtained expansion coefficients gave knowledge for actual designing of RCs.
