Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, deep learning technology has been developing rapidly. Along with the development of deep learning, automatic speech recognition (ASR) technology has also evolved significantly. About ten years ago, an ASR technology using a simple neural network emerged and showed significant improvement in ASR performance. Since then, an ASR technology based on deep learning has become the de facto standard. As deep learning progresses, ASR performance also continues to improve. In this paper, the transition of ASR technology is introduced, and the author's research on speech recognition will be also introduced.
