Position Estimation of Point Source Targets Using Compressed Sensing in THz Imaging

Abstract(in English) In terahertz (THz) imaging, synthetic aperture array is attractive for reducing measurement time and increasing spatial resolution. This report describes results of applying compressed sensing to the imaging of about 2 mm spaced two cupper wires using synthetic aperture array. We focus on FISTA and HQR as compressed sensing algorithms. The spatial spectrum images and position estimation accuracy of the two compressed sensing algorithms are compared with those obtained by conventional beamformer method and MUSIC method using virtual array and spatial smoothing. The results of estimating signal strength using FISTA and HQR are also shown.
