| Abstract(in English) | In railways, wireless communication systems are indispensable for the transmission of information related to train operations between running trains and the ground. In the past, wireless communication between the train and the ground was mainly used for voice communication, but in recent years, its application has been changing, such as increased use in data transmission, and the creation of new railway systems is expected. In this paper, we introduce the current status of wireless use in train operations, the wireless communication technologies that are expected to be introduced in the future, and the efforts at the Railway Technical Research Institute. |
