Relationship between Doppler spectrum and ground surface scattering in platooning V2V direct communication

Abstract(in English) At present, platooning V2V direct communication systems have been actively investigated. In the systems, the velocity of transmitting car and receiving car are equal, it has been reported from measurements that the effect of ground surface scattering appears in the Doppler spectrum. However, theoretical analysis of this effect is not yet sufficient. In this paper, ground surface is regarded as random rough surface, and the relationship between the roughness and the Doppler spectrum is analyzed by physical optics.
