| Abstract(in English) | We have previously proposed a miniaturized circularly polarized (CP) antenna with a parallel-plate resonator to suppress back-lobe radiation. In this paper, we propose a method to integrate a monopole antenna for another radio system into the CP antenna, where these antenna elements are located on the front side of the resonator. When the two antennas are fed from the back side of the resonator, two coaxial feed-lines have to pass through the resonator. Although one coax can be arranged at the center of the resonator, the other coax must be arranged at places other than the center. This causes leakage current on the outer conductor of the other coax, so that the operation of the resonator is unintentionally changed and the CP radiation pattern gets worse significantly. In order to reduce the leakage current, a slit is added on the front side of the resonator so as to surround the other coax. The effectiveness and operating principle are investigated by electromagnetic simulations. |
