Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CycleGAN realizes the translation between domains without using pair data. However, the configuration of two GANs and the learning of bi-directional domain translation to maintain Cycle Consistency make the training time huge. In this paper, we propose IMAS-GAN (Identity Mapping, Arbitrary style transfer, and Semantic image synthesis GAN), an unsupervised domain translation model using a single GAN without Cycle Consistency. The purpose of this study is to reduce the number of parameters and training time while maintaining the same performance as CycleGAN. We evaluate the proposed method from validation experiments using FCN-Score, Fr?chet Inception Distance, and Kernel Inception Distance.
