Contents Cache Method using Hierarchical Clustering in Information-Centric Sensor Networks

Abstract(in English) Applying sensor networks that realize multiple M2M services to ICN (Information-Centric Networking) is drawing attention. So far, a method to improve the efficiency of data collection using hierarchical clustering has been proposed. In this method, load on the cluster members is reduced by constructing routes and using hierarchical clustering. However, the number of data requests is not considered when caching. In this paper, we propose a caching control method considering the number of data requests for hierarchical clustering. In the proposed method, upper layer clusters are formed with multiple CHs of lower layer clusters. Also, upper cluster and the lower cluster perform caching according to each other's caching data and the number of data requests. From performance evaluation, the proposed method can show the superiority to the conventional method in terms of delay.
