| Abstract(in English) | Mobility Technologies is providing a next-generation AI dashboard camera service called “DRIVE CHART” to help reduce traffic accidents. DRIVE CHART analyzes the videos of both the interior and exterior of the vehicle obtained from dedicated dashcams, and automatically detects dangerous scenes that highly likely lead to traffic accidents. Advanced computer vision (CV) technology is absolutely necessary to performing the highly accurate detections. In this talk we introduce a part of the vision system used in the DRIVE CHART service as one application of CV technology. In addition, we also introduce some recent papers that focus on monocular CV technology, which is a key feature of the service. Finally, I would like to share my personal impressions of the attractiveness and difficulty of working as a CV engineer in a company with practical services. |
