Abstract(in English) | In recent years, due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus, there has been a series of cancellations and reductions in the scale of events, as well as shortened business hours and self-restraint at commercial facilities. The managers of events and commercial facilities can relatively easily take measures to control congestion at obvious locations, but it is difficult to detect congested locations at an early stage when they change dynamically, and to cope to them. In this paper, we proposed a method to obtain the distribution of the number of people in the target space in real time by detecting Wi-Fi probe packets emitted from Wi-Fi terminals held by visitors, and to understand the flow trend and predict the occurrence of congestion. We also studied a method to understand the flow trend even when the MAC address of the Wi-Fi terminal changes (anonymization). In addition, we explained the field verification plan of the proposed method and its evaluation method. |
