| Abstract(in English) | New challenges will emerge through the commercialization of 5G and expectations for the next generation will eventually arise. Assuming that a new generation will appear around every 10 years, it is necessary to have an image of 6G now and to start research activities. In this paper, we first discuss how 5G will evolve to Beyond 5G. Then, we describe major drivers for 6G from the viewpoint of social needs. Also, technology trend at present towards the future is described, followed by requirements to be satisfied by them for 6G. Then, Ericsson view on network evolution will be discussed from the viewpoints of use cases and technology evolution. Finally, some component technologies Ericsson is focusing on are described. |
