Development of a Low Leakage Electromagnetic Coupling-Type Microwave Heating System

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we study on a coupling-type microwave heating system. Despite being an open type, it is a non-radiative system and it has a small amount of electromagnetic leakage. Heating efficiency and the amount of leakage will be affected by the permittivity, which depends on the property and temperature of the heated samples, and the microwave frequency. We investigated relationship between parameters of the system and heating characteristics by using electromagnetic simulation.
