Person Tracking Method Based on Edge-to-Edge Cooperation for Specific Person Search

Abstract(in English) The face recognition application is playing an active role in various cases such as unattended reception of visitors. Therefore, it is expected to realize a search service for a specific person by using surveillance cameras and the face recognition application. However, the commonly used method requires matching with a large number of face images stored in a cloud database for each frame, and there is a concern that the tracking of the search target may fail due to the increase in processing time. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to detect a specific person on the edge by storing a copy of the file used to identify the person by facial features on the edge server. In addition, by cooperating with neighboring edges and sharing their files, the processing time to detection and tracking is reduced.
