Abstract(in English) | Autoware, which is one of the open software system for automatic driving, is able to simulate autonomous car technology such as self-localization, environmental recognition, and route control on personal computer system. Thus far, there were many studies for self-localization of autonomous car, however, it is not enough to simulate for self-localization enabled to apply autonomous car from the view of information and image engineering. Self-localization is the first topic to consider the automatic driving system. Because automatic driving is not basically manipulated by human, it needs to construct the information system enabled to do high precision self-localization including the traffic accident prevention. In this paper, first we carried out the simulation experiment for self-localization of autonomous car using Autoware from the view of information and image engineering. And then, we discussed towards practical realization. |
