Deadlock-free Routing in Autonomous Distributed AGV Systems using COP

Abstract(in English) This paper focuses on autonomous distributed route planning for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in production systems. The problem is formulated as a Precedence Constrained Pickup and Delivery Problem with Time Window (PCPDPTW). However, a deadlock may occur among AGVs in a distributed situation. In this paper, we propose a distributed routing method using COP while avoiding deadlocks. In addition, the performance of the proposed method will be evaluated by numerical experiments.
