Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The MaaS (Mobility as a Service), which collects, analyzes, and utilizes various data obtained from various types of vehicles, is expected to solve various problems about social community, and so on. LPWA communication may be effective for the continuous vehicle' running data collection over a wide range and long periods with low running costs. However, when we obtain the running data of the vehicle with high speed via LPWA communication, the communication performance may be significantly reduced depending on the communication characteristics and the transmission rate of the LPWA. Therefore, to evaluate the communication characteristics among Different LPWA standards or parameters related to the data collection of running vehicles, we conducted experiments using different LPWA communication devices. This experiment evaluated the communication performance for the running vehicle’s data collection using the LoRa communication modules with different frequency bands and transmission power and the ELTRES.
