Abstract(in English) | With the improvement of public transportation, high maintenance costs of private cars, the expansion of the sharing economy, and the appearance of inexpensive rental cars, vehicles' utilization is being reviewed as a daily means of transportation for consumers. The traffic trouble increases with the utilization extension of such vehicles, and it becomes a social problem as well as the traffic accident of the aged driver. On the other hand, by the utilization extension of the rental car including foreign tourists' utilization, the rental car business's operation cost increases by various troubles such as the increase of parking violation and traffic accident. This paper proposes a vehicle management system that improves rental car operators' operation by utilizing the data collected using the vehicle data collection system that we have proposed. |
