Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the improving productivity in the agricultural field is one of the important issues to be solved. To solve such problems, this paper examines the prediction of tomato harvest time to improve the productivity at the cultivation of tomato. Specifically, we examined three types of prediction methods (voting, ratio of red brightness values, difference between red brightness values and green brightness values) and compared the results of prediction of the proposed method with those of tomato cultivation experts. When the time to harvest the detected tomatoes is the current day and one day later, the voting and ratio of red brightness values showed good results. However, when the time to harvest the detected tomatoes is the three days later or four days later, the average of difference presented good results. From these results, the important knowledge in predicting the harvest time of tomatoes was obtained. |
