Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent years, the brain activity based personal identification is attracted attention. We focus on the Steady-State Visual Evoked Potential (SSVEP) to extract the personal characteristics. SSVEP is the brain response to the blinking light source or flickering checkerboard. When we focus our attention toward the flickering checkerboard, the SSVEP is enhanced in the frequency of flickering frequency and its second harmonic. Tamaki shows that the SSVEP evoked by modulated flickers includes the personal characteristics. In addition, the SSVEP and k-NN based identification technique is proposed. However, conditions of classification, i.e. the number of subjects and recorded EEG data, are limited. In this paper, 6 subjects SSVEP is used to the identification. In addition, the 2 electrodes are used as the feature parameters.
