Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Visuospatial cognitive impairment, common in central nervous system diseases such as dementia and stroke, is impaired in recognizing and finding objects on the face and articles and operating simple tools, and wearing clothes, even though the eyesight is not impaired. In regular training for visuospatial cognition, many methods are performed using boards and paper, and training for recognizing the sense of distance and size with an object is not sufficiently performed. This paper has developed an application for improving visuospatial cognition, which enables three-dimensional drawing in a three-dimensional space by utilizing an immersive virtual reality system. Furthermore, we will conduct questionnaires and verifications regarding the application's usability and make improvements based on them.
