Construction and Evaluation of an Emotion Estimation Model Using EEG and Heart Rate Variability Indices

Abstract(in English) Urabe et al. have conducted research on human emotion estimation techniques. They constructed an emotion estimation model by machine learning using EEG and heart rate variability as features, and the accuracy was about 80% on average. However, the extraction and selection of features are not sufficiently done, and there is room for improving the accuracy. Therefore, in this study, we extracted and selected features to improve the accuracy. As a result, we succeeded in improving the accuracy to nearly 100% for the features used in this study.
