Four-Block Type-2 Feistel Cipher from Tweakable Block Ciphers

Abstract(in English) A secure block cipher can be obtained from tweakable block ciphers (TBCs). In this paper, by using a TBC with $n$-bit blocks and $n$-bit tweaks, which is relatively easy to design, we propose a construction of a block cipher based on Type-2 Feistel cipher that allows parallel execution of the underlying TBCs. For the obtained block cipher with $4n$-bit blocks, we present the provable security results with $r=4$ and $6$ rounds. We also show an attack that shows the upper bound of the provable security against the $4$-round construction.
