Abstract(in English) | In order to meet increasing traffic load on wireless communication, the authors have studied a technology to efficiently control channel access and transmitting frequency channel based on factor analysis of communications quality using "redundant information" such as transmission timing and duration, as well as the result of channel monitoring. This paper introduces the structure and process flow of a system to acquire the redundant information for IEEE 802.11 wireless LANs. This system employs both a frame sniffer to obtain redundant information and a spectrum monitor "Radio Catcher" to measure the utilization of the multiple frequency channels used for transmission. |
