Abstract(in English) | In Voice Assistant Services, official or third-party Voice Assistant Apps (VA apps) are provided. Since a VA app works as a cloud service, most of the app's behavior lacks transparency. In addition, it is difficult to perform static and dynamic analysis, and there is a lack of tools for analyzing VA apps. The current situation where the actual condition of the VA app is not fully understood could lead to unexpected privacy risks. In this research, we have developed an interactive analysis system for Google Assistant which is a typical example of Voice Assistants. In this system, the interaction with the VA app is carried out by analyzing natural language responses. It is possible to comprehensively investigate the VA app by holding the past analysis information as a tree structure. As a result of the investigation by this system, we found that users can be easily tracked by the URL presented during the interaction and there are VA apps that do not meet the policy presented by Google. Finally, we discuss the ideal approaches that Voice Assistant platformers should take. |
