Tensor-aided Beamforming Design for Cell-Free MIMO

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we investigate a transmit (TX) and receive (RX) beamforming (BF) design for cell free multiple input multiple output (CF-MIMO) systems composed of a set of access points (APs) and a central processing unit (CPU) serving multiple users, which equipped with a different number of antennas. We propose a new multi linear generalized singular value decomposition (ML-GSVD) algorithm, which is highly accurate and fast-convergent by inducing orthogonality between the channel matrix of users, proposing a new TX/RX BF design framework based on the proposed decomposition algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of our proposed BF design in comparison to the conventional maximum ratio combining (MRC) and minimum mean square error (MMSE) BF methods in terms of spectral efficiency.
