Abstract(in English) In order to meet the requirements of diverse services in the advanced 5G era, we have proposed Adaptive RAN, in which the placement of virtualized RAN functions (vCU/vDU) is changed according to the service requirements. In Adaptive RAN, a RAN coordinator controls RAN behavior such as radio resource allocation to vDUs to assure the service quality. Controls of radio resource allocation to vDUs using radio quality information and traffic information of UEs are effective in communication quality assurance. However, the communication quality in a vDU deteriorates due to insufficient radio resources, while in another vDU some of the allocated radio resources are not used. In this paper, we propose a control method for suppressing communication quality deterioration and using radio resources effectively, and we evaluate the effect of the proposed method on communication quality.
