Abstract(in English) | Large-capacity high-speed communication using HTS (High Throughput Satellite), a type of geostationary orbit satellite, is attracting attention. In Japan, research & development and demonstration experiments of Engineering Test Satellite-9, the next-generation HTS, are planned. Meanwhile, the Japanese government has announced that it will give permission to use 5G base stations for traffic lights. Therefore, we propose a system in which base stations and automobiles connect to 5G networks using satellite communication and provide 5G services as relay stations or perform direct communication. Among them, we will simulate and examine the satellite’s LOS situation when performing satellite communication and radio wave propagation from relay stations. |
