| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we present a blind estimation method to detect carrier frequency offset (CFO) and symbol time offset (STO) without a training symbol. In the past, blind CFO estimation methods using Cyclic Prefix (CP) and Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) have been considered. However, the accuracy of these methods significantly depends on the range of CFO and the presence of STO. We propose a blind estimation method that dose not depend on these using Weighted Fractional Fourier Transform (WFrFT). We show that the proposed method has a good performance that does not depend on CFO and STO, compared to the conventional methods. Especially Mean Square Error (MSE) of the estimated value is reduced to less than 1/10. In addition, we show that the proposed method enables us to estimate STO, which is not possible with the conventional methods. |
