Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been developing KANVAS (Knowledge base system in wide Area Networks with Versatility, Availability, and Scalability), which aims a framework to share and use network information.KANVAS collects various network information, formulates it, and stores it for network management and applications. This paper designs and implements mechanisms for collecting and storing topology information, IGP information, and flow information in KANVAS.In the evaluation, we measured the time for collecting and storing topology information, and overhead due to collecting flow information. The results show that the overhead is small enough for practical use.
