Abstract(in English) | VANETs, the automotive IoT networks, are currently drawing attention to reducing accidents and improving vehicle convenience. One of the existing location-based V2V routing protocols is GPSR, but GPSR has a problem that the forwarding node determined by routing is out of the propagation range when data is transmitted. However, GPSR has a problem that the forwarding node determined by the routing process leaves outside the propagation range before data transmission. In this study, we propose a new routing protocol that combines the localization prediction used in GPSR+Predict and the link quality evaluation used in LSGR. In this study, a grid area is used to investigate the effect of node density, and traffic flows in the area around Gifu University and Gifu Station are constructed using the traffic simulator SUMO to verify the effect in an area close to the real environment. Furthermore, we simulated communication using ns-3 and investigated the average delivery rate and average delay. As a result, our proposed method showed better results than the existing location-based routing in terms of both delivery rate and delay. |
