Abstract(in English) | In the electrophysiological experiments in vivo, it is necessary to specify the insertion position of the microelectrode, however existing methods have limitations in spatial resolution and tissue damage. Here we propose a novel marking method using tungsten oxide, which has a higher resolution and lower invasiveness than previous method. Tungsten electrodes were inserted into the mouse and macaque brain and then a marking point of about 50 μm could be observed by applying a biphasic pulse of 20-50 μA. |
