Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a failure node detection method for short-range multi-hop communication with a hierarchical topology in wireless sensor network (WNS). WSN is required to repair network functions from node failure. To achieve this, immediate detection of failed nodes is required. In the proposed method, the failure of the relay node is grasped by recording the information of the relay node in a packet with a small data capacity. The proposed method was implemented on an actual machine and shown its effectiveness.
