Proposal of an Image-Based Virtual Try-on System with a Garment Extraction

Abstract(in English) In recent years, the study of virtual fitting has a lot of attention. In recent studies, an image-based virtual try-on system that transitions features of a clothing model to a human's clothing area had proposed. However, there are some issues such as 1) it is necessary to prepare the clothing model in advance, 2) it is difficult to cope with the changes in any posture. In this paper, we propose a virtual try-on system without requiring a clothing model preparation. In the proposed system, a clothing model is created automatically from human images by the clothing extraction process. In this paper, we compare the result of the prepared clothing model in advance and the automatically created clothing model, show the effectiveness of the proposed system. In addition, we try to improve the virtual try-on system to adapt to any posture and discuss the result.
