Pseudo-Push-based ICN to Deal with Access Concentration in a Short Period of Time

Abstract(in English) ICN is attracting attention as a network suitable for content distribution. Furthermore, the Push-type communication method is useful for event-driven communication, periodic data acquisition, and communication where access concentration is expected data. Therefore, we proposed Pseudo-Push-based ICN, and by using it, we reduced the node load caused by the content that can cause access concentration. However, the effectiveness of the proposed method changes depending on the request probability of the content delivered in advance. Therefore, we calculated the distribution criteria based on the cost of the proposed method and the estimation accuracy of the content to be distributed in advance and conducted a simulation experiment based on them to analyze the proposed method. As a result, it was shown that the proposed method can reduce the node load and the number of signals, and is effective for communication targeting Data where access concentration is expected.
