Multi-input Physical Layer Network Coding in wireless two-way relay networks

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a multi-input physical layer network coding (Multi-input PLNC) method for two-way communication between terminals and relay stations on a two-dimensional multi-hop network, which significantly reduces the relay process and achieves high-speed communication. In this paper, we propose a multi-input PLNC (Multi-input Physical Layer Network Coding), which eliminates the waiting time for signal transmission in a two-dimensional multi-hop network by using precoding. In addition, all the signals gathered at the relay station are simultaneously detected by filtering using eigenvalue decomposition and XOR-PLNC. Then, all the relay stations send back the detected signals at the same time. As a result, the proposed method enables two-way communication in a two-dimensional multi-hop network to be performed in two time slots, and the relaying process can be significantly reduced. Computer simulations show that the proposed method improves the BER characteristics by about 33 dB when the total number of transmitter antennas is 15 and the total number of transmitted signal streams is 6, compared to when the total number of transmitter antennas is 7 and the total number of transmitted signal streams is 6.
