Automated Segmentation of Left Ventirular Wall and Extraction of Left Ventricular Cavity in Echocardiographic Images by Deep Learning

Abstract(in English) In order to interpret cardiac function using echocardiographic images, it requires a great deal of skill. To construct of the support system for evaluation of cardiac function from echocardiographic images, this paper proposes a method for automatically segmentation of the left ventricular wall and the extraction of left ventricular cavity in two-chamber view by echocardiographic images, based on a deep learning algorithm (YOLACT). Under the guidance of a specialist of echocardiography, we conducted the training and the testing with the annotated data.
