Abstract(in English) | We have developed optical fiber line testing system (AURORA) which can reduce construction and maintenance cost and improve service reliability for access networks. In this paper, we introduce optical fiber line testing system technologies for reducing optical fiber selector cost using multicore fiber, extending system dynamic range for detecting water in cable joint using Coherent OTDR, and applying our system to other communication line with dark fibers. |
