Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study is to produce a picture book as an analog content intended to generate vection and to evaluate its effectiveness. In the initial experiment, we used four illusory images in which diffusion was perceived to verify the effect of presenting vection images in printed media. The results showed that vection strength could be obtained even with visual stimulation by printed media. In this experiment, we produced a picture book based on the illusion images and conducted an evaluation experiment. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the picture book produced in this experiment showed some vection effects, but did not receive positive evaluations from adults. It was also found that children and adults had different impressions of the picture book.
