Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Previous studies have shown that vection, an illusory sense of self-movement, can be modified differently depending on various differences in stimulus characteristics. In our previous research, we found that the strength of the sense of self-movement was modulated by differences in the impression of the material texture of the visual stimulus of the presented image. In this study, we examined how the different impressions of various sounds cause differences in vection perception.
