Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Synchronous movements make positive impressions and induce related behaviors. We apply the findings of previous studies and aim to propose the virtual agent for rehabilitation and exercise training supports, which synchronizes with body movements. It indicates that enhancing impressions and inducing behaviors to the agent (e.g., additional training based on accepting a request from the agent) trigger achieving continuous rehabilitation and exercise. This study implements the virtual agent, which recognizes repeated sit-down and stand-up as the experimental task and automatically synchronizes with Kinect, and investigates the effects on impressions and behaviors.
