Abstract(in English) | This paper discusses a technique for automatically recognizing the number of objects in a monitoring area based on sensor responses. Specifically, we converted sensor responses into images, and conducted an experiment to estimate the number of objects using OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library), an open source library developed and released by Intel. In order to obtain the number of objects in a monitoring area from sensor images, it is necessary to recognize the sensor responses to a single object as a set. In this paper, we consider a method of automatically obtaining information such as the number of objects in a monitoring area by enlarging the points showing sensor reactions using the morphological transformation, one of the functions of OpenCV, and using the sensor reactions to one object as an aggregate. The effectiveness of this method is demonstrated by simulation experiments. |
