Design of IIR Filter Using Novel Constraint-handling Method

Abstract(in English) In previous work, the design methods of IIR filter using metaheuristics have been proposed. The penalty function method is often used to incorporate constraints in the design problems in these design methods. However, the weight coefficients for the penalty functions can not be decided uniquely. If the unappropriate values are set, the design problem tends to become the ill-conditioned problem and candidates of solutions falls into the infeasible. In this study, an novel constraint-handling method with the $varepsilon$ constraint-handling method and the resampling method is proposed. Design examples are shown to present the effectiveness of the proposed method.
