Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | A high step-up ratio isolated DC-DC converter using a step-up transformer and a Cockcroft-Walton (CW) circuit is used for the power supply circuit of the X-ray irradiation device such as CT scan. This circuit is large. In addition, since it is mounted on the rotating body of the inspection device, the merit obtained by miniaturizing the high frequency of the circuit is great. However, since increasing the switching frequency causes an increase in switching loss, soft switching is applied in this study. In this research, we have proposed a current resonance converter that realizes soft switching by using a step-up transformer and parasitic elements of the CW circuit in PFM control. In this paper, the capacitance of the CW circuit is first described. We will work on formulating the effects on resonance characteristics and output voltage ripple, select circuit parameters from the obtained calculation formulas, perform simulation verification and actual machine evaluation, and confirm the usefulness of the proposed method. |
