Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, sensing using WiFi signals (wireless sensing) has been attracting attention as maintenance-free behavior recognition. Wireless sensing uses signal fluctuations caused by the movement of people and things for behavior recognition. Since we can use existing equipments such as WiFi base stations, the deployment cost for wireless sensing is low. Moreover, it does not require additional maintenance costs for charging or battery replacement. However, wireless sensing has the problem that it is difficult to identify multiple targets. Therefore, the goal of this research is to design a method for identifying people and things using WiFi. In WiFi imaging, the signal intensity in each direction of arrival is visualized like a camera by the same principle as the estimation of the angle of arrival of signals using an antenna array. In this paper, we investigated the WiFi imaging performance by simulation in order to realize object identification.
