| Abstract(in English) | A videophone has never achieved wide acceptance although it has been expected to be a killer application as the “next generation” system at each juncture of telecommunication system development. However, the spread of smart phones has increased the opportunities for its use, and the Corona disaster has brought it into full-scale use. In this paper, authors report the results of an evaluation experiment of communication via videophone. It was shown through analysis of the experimental result that the role of visual information on videophone can be explained by introducing the users’ attention factor. Furthermore, we discuss the service design of telework from the viewpoint of communication behavior, focusing on the communication via videophone. |
