Abstract(in English) | With the spread of the Internet of Things (IoT), the network edge is required to provide computational and communication resources. Because of this, research in mobile edge computing (MEC) is drawing attention. However, in existing MEC, ground infrastructure is indispensable for resource provision. Therefore, in this paper, we focus on a system that combines an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and MEC, and propose a method for allocating communication and computational resources using relay communication to realize a low-delay system. In the proposed method, the edge server where the workload is concentrated is distributed to other edge servers, which makes it possible to reduce the system delay. Aditionally, in the proposed method, the delay of the entire system is taken into consideration, and the relay method selection problem to minimize total delay is formulated. As a result of numerical analysis, it was confirmed that when the selection of the relay method is optimal, the performance of the proposed method is improved compared to the method without control and the method considering only the allocation of computational resources. |
