Abstract(in English) We are proposing volume hologram mode demultiplexer (VHDM) as a demultiplexer for mode division multiplex communication. The beam profile of the signal demodulated by VHDM can be compensated by a spatial light modulator (SLM). However, the application of this method requires a high resolution SLM, which is inferior in terms of cost. In this study, the resolution dependence was shown by simulation in order to measure the resolution tolerance of the compensation wave front. As a result, it was clarified that sufficient compensation operation can be expected even with a resolution of 1/8 of the conventional method.
